Shipping & Deliveries
Shipping is fulfilled by individual sellers on the Circular Sourcing platform. We standardise parts of the process so buyers know what to expect.
This page should be read alongside our Buyer Terms & Conditions. Where anything differs, the Terms prevail.
How shipping is priced
There are two ways, and the cart tells you which applies before you order.
Flat rate, shown at checkout. Swatches and cut metres shipping within Australia. Priced on weight, itemised at checkout and on your invoice.
Confirmed after you order. Everything shipping from overseas, and all full rolls and bulk quantities. Freight for these is priced on the actual dimensions and weight of the shipment, which can only be confirmed once the seller has prepared your order.
Flat rates: Australia to Australia
These weight based rates apply to swatches and cut metres shipping from an Australian seller to an Australian address.

| 3kg – 5kg | $23.50 |

Orders where shipping cost is confirmed after you order
This applies to all orders from Sellers outside of Australia and all roll / bulk or “buy all” orders.
-
You place the order. Placing the order is a firm commitment to purchase, and sellers often begin cutting or preparing your material as soon as it comes through.
-
The seller prepares your material and confirms freight.
-
Circular Sourcing sends you an invoice for the final total, usually within 2 business days. Where a seller is away, this is noted on their shop page and confirmation may take longer.
-
You pay within 3 business days.
-
Your order is dispatched.
If payment is not completed in time, the order may be cancelled and the stock released to other buyers.
Freight is priced on volume and weight, not on the value of your order. On small quantities from overseas sellers, shipping can be a large proportion of your total. Ordering larger quantities, or combining materials from the same seller, reduces the cost per metre.
Getting an estimate before you order
Email [email protected] with the listing and the quantity you want, and we will price shipping before you commit.
Estimates given before an order is placed are indicative and may vary within reason, once final dimensions are confirmed.
Arranging your own freight
For roll and bulk orders, you may organise your own courier. Please let us know if you’d like to do this and we will help you to coordinate it with the Seller. Local pickup is available on some listings and will be shown at checkout.
Carriers and tracking
Sellers choose their own courier. All orders must be sent using a tracked service. Untracked envelope or letter post is not permitted on any order where shipping has been paid. Tracked express services are encouraged.
Once dispatched, tracking appears in your dashboard and is emailed to you.
Dispatch and delivery
Sellers are expected to dispatch within 2 to 3 business days unless the listing says otherwise. Delivery usually takes a further 5 to 10 business days when using air or road freight. Sea freight can take between 6-8 weeks.
For orders where shipping is confirmed after ordering, dispatch timeframes run from the date your shipping invoice is paid.
If 7 days have passed without dispatch, message the seller from your dashboard. If there is no response or dispatch within 15 days of ordering, contact the Circular Sourcing team.
International orders
Eligible destinations vary by seller and are listed on each product page. Most fabrics ship to Australia, China and New Zealand. If you are outside Australia, contact us before ordering.
Shipping on all international orders is confirmed and invoiced after you order, using the process above.
You are responsible for all import duties, taxes and customs clearance on international shipments. Circular Sourcing is not responsible for delays or actions taken by customs authorities.
Inspecting your delivery
Check your order as soon as it arrives.
If you believe a fabric has undisclosed faults or was misdescribed, message the seller from your dashboard within 10 days of delivery. Claims made after 10 days cannot be accepted.
Once you have cut into the fabric it cannot be returned, regardless of the reason.
Damage in transit
Damage caused during transit is the responsibility of the courier. We will provide tracking and carrier details to support your claim, but cannot accept liability for courier handling.
Lost or stolen parcels
Once a parcel is marked as delivered, neither Circular Sourcing nor the seller can take responsibility for loss or theft.
Please make sure your delivery address is accurate and secure. Where an order is returned due to an incorrect address or a missed delivery, re-shipping costs are yours.
